Sudden events with heightened emotional responses by employees can lead to long-term psychological disorders and disability. Recognizing the emotional impact and providing early intervention can result in prompt emotional recovery of the affected employee(s), lowered absence rate, and reduce disability claims. We provide onsite management consultation to pre-plan how the organization will respond to incidents and to coordinate mental health resources for the organization and its employees immediately following a traumatic incident.
Examples of Traumatic Stress:
Officer-involved shooting
Bank employee(s) following armed robbery
Sudden death of a coworker
Employee(s) assaulted on the job
PSYCHOLOGICAL RECOVERY = EARLY INTERVENTION + ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
